
She won two ABRSM Gold Awards at age 10Īnd 11 for the highest marks in the UK for grades 7 and 8 Piano. Isata held the Elsa and Leonard Cross Scholarship at The Royal Academy of Music, Juniorĭepartment, studying piano with Patsy Toh. She has won The Royal Academy Iris Dyer Piano Prize four times and won the Mrs Claude Beddington Prize for outstanding recital results in her second year as an undergraduate at The Royal Academy. Isata was in the Piano Category Final of The BBC Young Musician 2014, winning The Walter Todds Bursary for the most promising musician before the Grand Final. Isata begins her Postgraduate studies with a scholarship to The Royal Academy in September 2018. She performed with Elton John in Los Angeles in 2013. Isata Kanneh-Mason is an undergraduate at The Royal Academy of Music, studying piano with Carole Presland, having been awarded the prestigious Sir Elton John Scholarship. They performed on Radio 3 for the Royal Philharmonic Society Awards 2016. The trio has played at many prestigious venues to date, including the Barbican (Sound Unbound Festival), The Elgar Room at The Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham, the Highgate International Chamber Music Festival, the Leicester International Chamber Music Festival, the Colour of Music Festival in Charleston, USA, the Erin Arts Festival, Isle of Man, and the NTU International Music Series.

They share a passion for Chamber music and for performing together. All three siblings are Scholarship students at The Royal Academy of Music, with a busy schedule of solo and concerto engagements.

They have performed in concerts throughout the U.K., in the USA and in the Caribbean, winning the Royal Academy of Music Harold Craxton Chamber Music Prize 2018. The Kanneh-Mason Piano Trio is comprised of three siblings who have been playing together since they were very young.
